Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, Residential Education. The Coordinator, Residential Education serves an important role in the coordination and implementation of academic initiatives, residential curriculum, and living learning communities in the department. The Coordinator serves as the supervisor for the Academic Mentor student staff and advises multiple committees in the residential education area. The position is involved in the coordination and implementation of numerous academic initiatives including academic support, recognition, and living learning and themed communities. The Coordinator is responsible for implementing a comprehensive recruitment, selection, and training program for the Academic Mentor student staff. The position will maintain full-time office hours to include evening/ weekend hours for programs and training. Summer duties include assisting with planning for the academic year, coordinating Academic Mentor training, and other summer academic programs. The position reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Education.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master's Degree one (1) year of related work experience. Related Experience: in student services environment.
