Starting Salary Range: $24.90-$25.86/hourly. Salary commensurate w/qualifications and experience.

Involves recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and / or evaluating Human Resources policies, labor contracts, statutes, programs and procedures covering several of the following: recruitment, compensation, employee relations, labor relations, payroll, benefits, welfare programs, training and development, visa procurement, inter-location transfers, and employee services.
Professional who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments / projects / tasks of moderate scope and complexity; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action.
Serves as a member of the Compensation team, works both independently and in collaboration with others to support the Compensation team in their various functional roles. Provides professional administrative operational support, gathers and evaluates information. Ensures policy and procedure compliance, and communicates to campus clients on compensation processes and procedures. Works collaboratively with staff and campus constituents. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and procedures. Develops recommendations regarding FLSA exceptions, job revisions, and organizational structures. Conducts salary stipends reviews, wage implementation analysis, salary equity reviews and salary analysis as needed. Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze data. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as required. Schedules meetings and maintains calendar as needed.
This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills sufficient to independently track and coordinate activities, set priorities, manage deadlines, and maintain a professional manner within a complex and fast paced professional environment. This position requires experience with analyzing issues and attention to detail, interpreting reports, and researching gathering and integrating information.

The Compensation Unit administers all pay programs for staff bargaining unit and management employees on campus.
