The recruiting manager provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across the college.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees complete life cycle recruiting for all positions providing high quality experience for all candidates.
Build talent pipelines for current and future job needs.
Manages external partnerships with colleges, job boards, and HR software vendors.
Creates diversified sourcing strategies, including referral networks, targeted outreach, and differentiated job postings.
Works with DEI to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within recruiting strategies.
Curate, interview teams, as needed, and defines sourcing and assessment tools to identify top talent in a streamlined fashion.
Develops and manages data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, promotions, and overall department metrics.
Leads the development and implementation of employment marketing approaches for recruiting talent, including utilizing emerging technologies (i.e., social media), employment branding, and recognizing opportunities to market the college to diverse populations.
Prepares and reviews annual recruitment budget.
Partners with HR business partners and departments to design and facilitate leadership training programs for hiring managers to ensure consistency in the selection process, ensuring they are equipped to attract and retain the best talent for the role.
Leverage EEO/AAP/compliance strategies and goals to ensure EEO compliance and diversity goal achievement.
Partners with Learning & Organizational Development to provide new employees a practical and impactful Employee Orientation experience.
Forecasts hiring needs based on workforce planning growth plans.
Manages, trains, and evaluates Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Participates in and hosts recruitment events to drive awareness of CNM.
Measures and reports on crucial recruitment metrics/progress via regular reports.
Cultivates a culture of excellence and develops clear objectives for talent acquisition that align with HR departments and CNM organizational goals and objectives.
Works with Business partners to consult with CNM leadership to define and understand their needs; develop a plan to attract, recruit, and deliver innovative and efficient hiring solutions.
Maximizes direct sourcing efforts through platforms such as LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, other web-based sources, and various other channels to find the best-qualified candidates.
Continuously refines hiring processes that produce pools of high-quality candidates at an expedited rate.
Implements best practice recruitment services that drive talent acquisition strategies to support growth.
Manages vendors and leverages search firms; builds relationships with agencies and specialized talent agencies for contingent and retained searches.
Creates solid professional networks, attends virtual networking events, and partners with educational institutions for diverse talent pools.
Stays abreast of competitive industry information and organization strategies needs.
Leads CNM's separation/departure process; captures and synthesizes related data/reporting and converts with leadership/departments based in trends.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and five (5) years of related experience, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Associates Degree and seven (7) years of related experience, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience
High School and nine (9) years of related experience, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience.
