Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Institutional Equity

Viterbo University, an independent, liberal arts institution in the Catholic tradition located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks a dynamic and strategic leader of human resources and institutional equity who can provide excellence in the design, development, and implementation of programs, services, and systems and drive Viterbo to be an inclusive, welcoming environment. The position is available beginning July 1, 2021.

Viterbo University was founded in 1890 as St. Rose Normal School by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration to prepare Sisters to teach in elementary schools. The next Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Institutional Equity will set the strategic direction for human resources and institutional equity, and will develop, implement, and maintain equitable and inclusive personnel policies and practices that are compliant with federal/state laws and university guidelines and support the university priorities. The Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Institutional Equity will also provide management for the Human Resources and Payroll Department and serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Additionally, they will serve on the Dean and Cabinet leadership group and other key institutional committees.
