Conducts salary studies using variety of market data; collaborates with managers to clarify job duties to facilitate job matching; using reporting and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends
Analyzes data and formulates recommendations regarding development and update of salary structures, FLSA exemptions, job revisions, organization structures, etc.
Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation policies and human resources procedures.
Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by the incumbents
Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales
Assist with data collection, trends and analysis for collective bargaining compensation/classification reviews
Coordinate and assist with the compensation education strategy for MSU leaders
Assists with other HR initiatives/projects including researching employee compensation benefits in comparative institution; based on findings; recommends changes or updates to the company's existing benefits/policies.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Human Resources Management or related field is required and a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) - preferred
