Primary Objective:
The Human Resources Director is passionate about the Spectrio products and mission while focused
performing HR-related duties in the following areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Under direction of the Chief of Staff, provides HR support and consultation to managers; answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
- Drives and supports managers with performance management processes.
- Drives and manages the Recuitment Team.
- Drives the annual performance review process.
- Manages and maintain HR systems (Paylocity, Employee Navigator, etc)
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations to reduce any potential legal risks.
- Provides HR guidance and recommendations to senior management when appropriate.
- Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures while maintaining and updating the employee handbook on policies and procedures.
- Maintains organizational charts and employee directory.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
- Supports as needed in the merger and acquisition due diligence and integration process.
- Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases in conjunction with the HR Generalist.
- Help administer benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability and 401k programs as a backup to the HR Generalist.
- Participates in recruitment and selection efforts for non-exempt and exempt positions as a backup to the Corporate Recruiter.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field. PHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Manager role
- Must have solid background in employment laws (Federal & State) and other government compliance regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes demanding environment.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in G Suite. Experience with an applicant tracking system (ex. Paylocity) preferred.
