At MCC, we are changing lives for a changing world, and our Risk Management Coordinator directly contributes to this undertaking by ensuring continuously healthy and safe working and learning environments where our employees and students can thrive. Examples of responsibilities for the role include risk management planning; coordination of insurance claims (such as general liability or Workers Compensation); ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and Local health, safety and environmental requirements including those pertaining to record keeping, documentation, and reporting; creating and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and manuals; development of safety committees or workgroups; and training other faculty and staff of the College on compliance of all such matters.

A candidate for this role should be highly service-oriented, one who is responsive to the needs of the various stakeholders throughout our campus and extension sites, a relationship-builder who exhibits strong interpersonal skills, and is able to continuously reassess and prioritize projects as needed.
